Before You Buy, Sell, Trade or Settle on a Claim Know the Real Value. A vehicle’s condition and history can raise and lower Values. Having a 3rd Party involved keeps things fair. Our Professional Appraisers are very knowledgeable and look at the vehicle condition, market trends as well as auction, and market comparable values to get you an Accurate Value. When possible, we do request units to be appraised are cleaned and ready for a detailed inspection.
Some things that can affect a unit’s value are, cleanliness, pet hair/dander, smoke, stored inside compared to left outside, driven or pulled on a lot of dirt roads/trails, and of course Branded Titles (Total Loss, Damaged Disclosed, TMU - True Mileage Unknown, Mileage Discrepancies or Flood Damage). Poor Workmanship on Repairs, Faded or Scratched Paint, Mismatched Body Parts, Mismatched Tires, Faded/Torn or Warn Parts and Interiors also affect values.
Client installed Upgrades and Options or Customizations can raise or lower values depending on what they are and how they were installed. Some upgrades that require holes drilled or things welded can actually void parts of the manufacture’s warranties.

“SHOPPING ASSISTANCE” - We have over 30 years of involvement in large and small New and Used Auto and RV Dealerships so of course we also offer “NEW and USED Shopping Assistance” - Shopping for “NEW or USED” Automobiles and RVs can be intimidating, stressful, and expensive. Sometimes just having us by your side keeps you centered and feeling in control of the process. Dealers need to be able to make a profit on what they are selling but sometimes they can overcharge for certain services or products. The $avings normally runs in the $ hundreds but sometimes the savings can go into the $thousands. When you consider interest on the add-ons and excess charges during the life of the loan, having us by your side can be extremely helpful. Some Shoppers do not like the stress and not knowing or understanding the purchase details. Our Shopping Assistance Fees start with a minimum of $250.00 which covers the first 2 Hours. Additional Shopping Assistance time runs $125.00 per each additional Hour. There are additional charges for Time and Miles when Services are Outside of Washington County. Sometimes there are more than one appraisal or service taking place in your area so we don’t charge for the additional Mileage and Time.
Our Appraisal Services can be “Online Appraisals” or “In-Person Appraisals. In-Person Appraisals are Preferred for Accuracy. We like to be able to drive motorized units when possible but only if units are properly licensed and street legal. It is not required. We do not want to inconvenience clients. The weather can prevent us from safely driving motorized units and sometimes RVs are parked and leveled for the season or units are stored and not moveable so driving them may not be reasonable. We also like the owner(s) if present to be with us or available (not required) when we appraise units.
There is Additional Fees for Mileage and Time if In-Person Appraisals, Shopping Services or Additional Needs are out of Washington County. Contact us to get these details. Sometimes there are more than one appraisal or service taking place in your area so we don’t charge for additional Mileage and Time.

Cars, SUVs and Pickup Trucks (up to and including 1 Tons): $149.00
(Antique, Classic and Custom Vehicles are NOT Appraised)
"RV Appraisal Prices":
- Motorhomes 30ft and Longer: $299.00
- Motorhomes Under 30ft: $249.00
- 5th Wheels and Pull Trailers 30ft and Longer: $199.00
- 5th Wheels and Pull Trailers Under 30ft: $149.00
- Popup Trailers and Slide-In Campers: $89.00
Some RV Campgrounds have stepped up to help their Guests get a discount so check with them. We do not Appraise RVs 30 years old or older.

Purpose of the Inspection Report: This inspection report provides the inspector’s opinion on the vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection. Therefore, neither the inspector nor any parties involved in the report can be held liable for any subsequent vehicle failures or damages.
Liability and Warranty:
By accepting this report, the consumer acknowledges that:
- The inspector, BOUS Appraisals, Best of Utah Services LLC, and related parties are not responsible for any alleged or unseen vehicle defects.
- There is no implied or expressed warranty or guarantee for the vehicle from the inspector, BOUS Inspectins, Best of Utah Services LLC, or any parties involved.
- BOUS APPRAISALS, Best of Utah Services LLC, and Inspectors are released from all claims on any units being appraised.
- Clients bear all risks associated with purchasing, selling, trading, or settling any claims. BOUS Appraisals, Best of Utah Services LLC, Inspectors appraisals are simiply giving an opinion based on the units condition, cleanlyness, changing market conditions, past experiences, and information gained from many value sources.
Basics of Inspection:
BOUS Appraisals/Best of Utah Services LLC conducts a thorough visual inspection, without moving, removing, or repositioning any parts. Key points include:
- The report offers a detailed opinion of the vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection.
- The inspection is not exhaustive and may not detect all existing or potential issues
- No verification of the VIN or authenticity of the vehicle’s make, model, or year is provided.
- The inspection does not cover the internal condition of the engine, transmission, or any other sealed systems.
Limitations of the Inspection:
- Given that vehicles inspected are USED UNITS, the inspector might not detect intermittent issues, such as occasional leaks or faulty electronics, etc...
- The inspection aims to verify if the vehicle’s condition aligns with its actual state to prevent possible gross misrepresentations.
- The inspector may have some thoughts regarding a purchase or sale; but all buyers and sellers are solely responsible for all final buying or selling decisions.
Post-Purchase Responsibility:
- The Client/Buyer/Seller acknowledges that the inspection is a supplement to, and not a replacement for, a comprehensive evaluation by a qualified technician.
- The Client/Buyer/Seller assumes all responsibility for any decisions made based on any inspection report.
- The report includes only the visible inspected areas.
- The findings reflect the vehicle’s condition at the inspection time. Post-inspection changes or parts removal are beyond BOUS Appraisals, Best of Utah Services LLC, or the inspector’s control.
